Worth settling before you pay
Does the monthly plan include the same as the yearly?
Yes: unlimited export for print, three computers and updates. The difference is the period and the price. Twelve months paid one by one cost more than the yearly plan; if you know you'll use it for the year, the yearly is the one that makes sense.
What happens when my subscription ends?
None of your work is lost or locked. The albums are yours, they're on your computer, and they keep opening, editing and exporting for review. The only thing that stops is the full-size file for print, and it comes back as soon as there's a licence again.
Does it renew on its own? How do I cancel?
It does: both plans are subscriptions and renew on their own — the yearly one every twelve months, the monthly one every month — at the same price, until you cancel. We write to you 30 days before every expiry date and the program shows it on the licence chip. To cancel, use Paddle's customer portal — the link is in the email for every payment — or write to hola@cajista.com and we'll do it. What you already paid for stands until its date. The details are in the terms.
Do I need an internet connection?
Not to work. Importing, laying out, adjusting and exporting for review all run offline. A few seconds of network are needed only to authorise an export for print and, if you have it switched on, for the automatic layout.
Do you really not upload my photos?
Really. No part of the program sends an image anywhere: the feature doesn't exist. You can verify it by watching your browser's network traffic while you use it.
How many computers can I use it on?
Three with the same licence, which covers the usual desktop, laptop and spare. If you change machines and run out of slots, write to us and we'll free one up.
How does the licence work?
When you buy, you get a key on screen and by email. You paste it into Cajista once per computer and that's it. No account to create, no password to remember, no profile to fill in.
Can I try it on a real event or wedding before paying?
That's exactly the idea. The free plan isn't cut down where the work happens: build the whole album, show it to your client with the export for review, and decide afterwards whether you want the print file.
How is it different from SmartAlbums?
In three ways: your photos never leave your computer, there's nothing to install, and laying out is free — you only pay for the print file. And in what it doesn't have yet, which is written down too: the full comparison is here.
And if it isn't for me?
Refunds within 14 calendar days of purchase, by writing to hola@cajista.com.
Still unsure?
Write to hola@cajista.com and a person will answer. If you're weighing up a change of tool mid-season, say so: it's the worst week to get it wrong.
